Just wanting to give a huge shout out to an amazing venue that we finally got to use this week called "Pocket Bar & Kitchen” for a two day offsite for 50 people.
I discovered this little gem a few years ago prior to Covid (and if you know me, I am always on the look-out for something different and outside the square when looking for venues), and thought this would be a great place for a working offsite. There definitely aren’t many places around like this available in Auckland that add something different, quirky and just gorgeous. For those of you who may not be familiar with it, trust me, you need to arrange a visit. It’s a very cool space and something different than being stuck in a conference room all day.
We hired the complete venue for the two days which included plenty of separate breakaway areas, all the AV that you would need and the outside space to enjoy the beautiful Auckland sun that we were lucky to have last week.
The amazing owner John and his right hand man Laurence were simply amazing. Everything was taken care of from 07am both mornings until we left late Friday afternoon.
John also sourced amazing catering for our morning and afternoon teas from Tart Bakery in Grey Lynn which is across the road from them (mouth-watering, everything vegan and divine, no-one even knew a thing – I will definitely be visiting them again) and our lunches were done by @JessUndergroundKitchen (which I have never used before either) and they simply nailed it.
At the end of day one we ended with drinks and amazing platters which were made by the Pocket Bar Kitchen and everyone’s mouths were watering. So connect in with John and go and have a look, or make your next offsite with him. Trust me you won’t regret it.
